Winchcombe Meteorite Event

In September 2021, students from across Cheltenham Education Partnership schools and colleges were invited to participate in a presentation and workshops with scientists from the National History Museum, where they explored the history behind meteorites and the significant role they play in the formation of the universe.

This fascinating event was organised and hosted by representatives at Winchcombe School following a historic event in which one of the world's most important meteorite sightings landed in Winchcombe in February 2021, on the driveway of one of the school's governors.
